Haymarket up and rocking

Checking in on owner Matthew Landan and now officially opened Haymarket Whiskey Bar who recently posted a cool photo of the new storefront sign and gives you a little peak into Landon’s world:

The Haymarket Whiskey Bar now open for business on East Market Street.

As a downtown Louisville resident and scooter enthusiast, I have a fond appreciation of the Vespa and the swagger it gives you, especially when posing by a bunch of bottles of bourbon.  The new sign looks great and the recent lineup of local bands and slams have been announced playing Haymarket Whiskey Bar this upcoming week:

Tuesday February 7: Gypsy Jazz Jam (no cover, 7:30p)
Wednesday February 8:  The Word Spoken poetry slam  (no cover, 8:30pm, for more info email haymarketwhiskeybar@gmail.com)
Thursday February 9:  Littlehouse Records presents Introvert, Mercy Academy ($3 cover, 9p)
Friday February 10: Vessel, Samuel Hadfeld, Brandon Koufeldt  ($5 cover, 9p)
Saturday February 11: Parlour, Opposable Thumbs, R. Keenan Lawler ($6 cover, 9p)
