Look what I ate!

Half of the appeal of Theater Square Marketplace on 4th Street is showing it off to others.  This gorgeous, massive restaurant is hidden behind Nancy’s Bagel Box and the sophisticated Theater Square Wine and Spirit Shop by the Brown Hotel and Palace Theater.   Inside you are met with thee dining areas, one outside under big red umbrellas on the patio, one towards the front in the bar area, and the the true ‘oh my god this restaurant is huge’ dining area in the back.  Once inside, every inch of Theater Square offers a unique to resting spot for your gaze.  From the rock bed fireplaces, huge sparkling chandeliers, pianos, to the art installations, whenever I dine there for business I feel like I’m a fancy lady.  And I am, because here’s what I ate:

A perfect lunch: duck confit grilled cheese with white cheddar on Texas toast. Delicious.

Grilled cheese to the next level.   Check out their Spring 2012 lunch menu (PDF).   651 S. Fourth St.  Open Monday to Thursday 11a-10p, Friday and Saturday 11a-11p.
